WWW.ROBERTLASSEN.COM is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk.  What does that mean?  Well, from time to time, I’ll be throwing out posts about books or movies that have inspired or influenced me, or that I think others would benefit from reading or seeing.  These will be full-up posts (e.g. not just a quick link to a product you can buy), but if after reading you are overwhelmed by an urge to read that book or watch that film and see what all the fuss is about, you will have the option to click on a simple link that will take you to the Amazon page for it.  There is no obligation to click on the link, and no obligation to buy once you do, but I figure Amazon is the most likely first port of call for anyone wishing to follow my recommendation.  If you DO decide to buy, I get a tiny piece of the action from Amazon for directing you their way, so in that sense you would be contributing to the upkeep and operating costs of the website – but I’m pretty skilled at keeping those costs down, so please don’t feel you have to buy anything!  The recommendations are from the heart – what you decide to do with them is entirely your call…
